The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka presented the National Livestock Development Board a merit award for the category of Livestock & Fisheries sector. For it’s contribution to the Livestock sector. Being a semi government institution, this is the first time the National Livestock Development Board has received a national award for its contribution to the nation.
This award is a great encouragement for the Board for all its future endeavors. This will no doubt encourage the officers and the staff of the National Livestock Development Board to achieve targets set in the national plan. It is the expectation of all concerned at the board to bring the gold award in the year 2012.
